DAS Corp. to Bring 300 Automotive Jobs to Metter
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that DAS Corp. (DAS), an automotive parts company, will establish a new manufacturing facility in Metter. The facility will create 300 new jobs and generate more than $35 million in investment in Candler County. This initiative will also involve collaborative indirect investments.

Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution to Invest Additional $2B in Bryan County
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution (LGES) will invest an additional $2 billion in their battery cell manufacturing joint venture (JV) at the Metaplant in Bryan County, raising the JV’s total investment value to more than $4.3 billion. This expansion will create another 400 new jobs.

A delegation from Sewon Precision Industry’s offices in South Korea and Sewon America in LaGrange, Ga. visited Effingham County last week to make connections in the community and discuss plans for construction of the new plant, which will manufacture electric vehicle parts for the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant in Bryan County.

Woory to open EV parts manufacturing, R&D facility in Laurens County
Governor Brian P. Kemp today announced that Woory Industrial Co., Ltd., an automotive parts manufacturer, will establish a new manufacturing facility in Dublin, Georgia. The facility will create more than 130 new jobs and an estimated $18 million in investment in Dublin-Laurens County.
